TIMEX PUZZLE Skeletonized Watches, 1987, 1989
Hi, this is Alan. Contact info at bottom. I don't know that much about these. Small watches, 25 mm, with strap lengths that would only work with children. Have a Swatch-like quality, including integrated straps. "Skeleton" watch type, with display back. There is no dial. The movement is visible clearly, and the plates for each watch are painted three colors. There is a sort of outer ring, maybe a movement holder. Case above is a translucent sort of lemonade color. The above watch is from 1987, and the below watch from 1989. They differ in colors of movement plates, hand type, case color, strap color. Nice look at the copper coils in the movement, from the display back.

Unusual image, taken of the back while shining a light through the front, to show the translucency of the entire thing.

I don't know much more about these. I don't know of many more skeleton watches TIMEX made. Very recently, TIMEX Japan released two versions fo the Original Camper, in a really stunning skeletonized form, with BEAMS and BEAMS BOY, and one of those is reviewed at this page

TIMEX India has also released a line of watches with skeletonized mechanical movements (movements by MIYOTA) where the movements themselves have been crafted with skeletonization; parts removed so that deeper components can be visualized and appreciated.

Thank you for reading.

I hope you will like it.
