This whole episode was really worth a great laugh. Though it was also kind of sad. People on a watch forum think this TIMEX is fake / photoshopped, and/or that it was the result of drunk factory workers somehow managing to make a dial backwards, and then deciding to keep it.
Conspiracy Theory at the watch forum!
Above is the offending watch in question. It is a TIMEX from January 2018, made by TIMEX Japan, in collaboration with the design house Engineered Garments, and the Japanese retailer BEAMS. Here is a link to the watch. It's a pretty fun watch, and I really enjoy it. I posted some pictures and the link, for interest sake, at a couple of watch forums. On one forum, people had a severe reaction. Generally, people hated it.
See below pic. One person was so enraged that they made a (pretty crudely done) Photoshop, where they flipped the image horizontally, and then moved the crown over to the 3 o'clock position. Forum people also made a lot of comments about this watch, below. One person thought I was coming to the forum in order to sell watches, LoL. They were the weirdest, most suspicious conspiracy-prone braindeds I've ever encountered on a watch forum. Note: there will be vulgar language (none of if from me!)
